On Thursday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m., we will have another film session at Vídeo Instan (Viladomat, 239, Barcelona).
This time we will screen a documentary about the great sculptor Louise Bourgeois. It is titled Louise Bourgeois, my body, my sculpture, directed by Marie-Eve de Grave in 2024. It is in French, with Spanish subtitles and lasts 56 minutes.
The sculptor Louise Bourgeois revolutionized contemporary art by transforming trauma and femininity into monumental works, such as the famous spiders. An intimate documentary that explores how her life and her creation are inextricably intertwined: Louise is her work and the sculpture, her body.
IMPORTANT: Because the room has a limited capacity, there is a need to have some control over the number of attendees. To do this, you will need to confirm your attendance at socis@icre.cat. This activity is free for all members, as long as the confirmation is made in advance. If you do not, you will still be able to attend (although we cannot guarantee that there will be room for everyone) by paying 5 euros, the same amount as non-members who wish to attend.
