Cine and Sculpture: “Robar a Rodin”

On Thursday, November 19, we will have another film session at Vídeo Instan (Viladomat, 239, Barcelona).

This time we will screen the Chilean documentary titled Robar a Rodin, directed by Cristóbal Valenzuela Berrios, Maria Luisa Furche and Sebastian Rioseco, in 2017. Its duration is 90 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Because the room has a limited capacity, there is a need to have some control over the number of attendees. To do this, you will need to confirm your attendance at socis@icre.cat. This activity is free for all members, as long as the confirmation is made in advance. If you do not, you will still be able to attend (although we cannot guarantee that there will be room for everyone) by paying 5 euros, the same amount as non-members who wish to attend.

One morning in June 2005, the guards at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Chile noticed that a million-dollar sculpture by Auguste Rodin had been stolen. 24 hours after the incident, a shy art student returns the piece, arguing that he had stolen it as part of an artistic project.
