by Patrick BADE, Art Historian and Professor at Christie’s Education in London, that will take place next Thursday the 9th of October at 8,30 pm. in the la Noble Room at MEAM taking advantage of the exhibition ‘Some Sculpture, please! The 20th century European Sculpture’

“The period between the wars was the last in which large quantities of confident and highly skillful figurative sculpture were produced throughout the Western world in a tradition dating back to the Renaissance and beyond to the Antique. the vast and varied body of sculptural work was sidelined by mainstream developments in modern art and discredited by sinister political associations in the 1930s. As a result it has been largely ignored since World War II. this talk will attempt to examine and re-asses interwar figurative sculpture..” P. Bade

Once finished a glass of champagne will be offered. WE WAIT FOR YOU!
