XIII INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF SCULPTURE IN ALABASTRO

Thirteenth edition of the International Alabaster Sculpture Symposium. It is celebrated in the town of Albalate del Arzobispo, in the province of Teruel (Spain) during the second half of November and is biennial.

The International Symposium on Alabaster Sculpture was born with the vocation of consolidating this genuine ornamental stone, linked to the History of Art since ancient times.

With an inclusive and open approach, the Symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of artistic knowledge and experiences between artists from different cultures, as well as to promote and enhance artistic work in alabaster. This event is aimed at professional sculptors who are attracted to this mineral, whether through professional practice, research or training, or an interest in experiencing the sculptural qualities of alabaster.

The International Symposium on Alabaster Sculpture is an event organized by the Albalate del Arzobispo City Council with the collaboration of the Bajo Martín Region, the Teruel Provincial Council and various companies in the sector.
