35th ICRE Seminar: “The survival of Francoist symbolism. The commemorative monument to the Battle of the Ebro in Tortosa”

This October, ICRE has organized another Seminar at the Clarà Library in Barcelona (Doctor Carulla, 22-24).

It will be on Thursday, January 30, at 6:30 p.m.

Historian Andrea Sierra Baz will give a lecture entitled "The survival of Francoist symbolism. The monument commemorating the Battle of the Ebro in Tortosa". Throughout the presentation she will present the results of her research on the Francoist monument in Tortosa (Baix Ebre), its origins, the actions that have been carried out and the conflict of memories that surrounds it until today.

As usual, the event will coincide with the inauguration of a new selection of sculptures from our partners.

The partners presenting sculptures on this occasion are:

Mercè Bessó, Berta Canals, Mario González, Belén Mercader, Maria Candela Peñato, Vicente Romea, Imma Solà and Raquel Toisón.
