Pere Baguena at the Grup d’Art Escolà Gallery

Solo exhibition exploring the fauna of the Empordà region through various artistic techniques. The artist presents a series of metal sculptures, pen drawings, watercolors, engravings and Japanese woodcuts inspired by the birds and wildlife of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.

A true contemporary bestiary that reflects on the duality between the weight of metal and the lightness of bird flight. The pieces invite the viewer to contemplate the beauty of local ecosystems and to reflect on the importance of their conservation.
