ICRE is a non-profit association regulated by the legislation contained in book III of the Catalan Civil Code, with the aim of becoming an entity of public interest.<\/p>\n

ICRE is a platform for disseminating works that researchers (historians, sculptors, exhibition curators …) are developing around sculpture, either in relation to the work directly inscribed in our historical tradition, or in projects that put into dialogue this tradition and contemporaneity. A space where current professionals, but also young people who are finishing their training, can develop and share their respective interests and fields of work.<\/p>\n

This diffusion must have a clear international sense, so that our productions can be known everywhere, but especially in the European framework, a space that is closer to us culturally speaking.<\/p>\n

The promotion promoted by the Institute must take place through activities that return to society the knowledge of sculpture, in order to create an audience cultivated in the appreciation of this art so ingrained in our society.<\/p>\n

That is why it is important that, together with the dissemination, a training task be carried out in parallel with the existing academic education, which complements it and that allows the development of the professionals of the area, both in terms of the theoretical scope of the sculpture , as to his practice ..<\/p>\n

Jorge Egea Izquierdo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doctor in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 2005, with the doctoral thesis Modeling, Creation and
\nKnowledge. Spiritus classicus.<\/p>\n

Since 2002 he has been a professor at the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona and has worked as a visiting professor at several European universities.<\/p>\n

Very active and present in the international context, his exhibition activity began in 1992, highlighting, among the most relevant samples in which he has participated, those he has carried out in France, Italy, the United States and Japan. He also takes part assiduously in artistic exhibitions both in Catalonia and throughout the Spanish territory.<\/p>\n

He is the author of numerous publications, focusing both on the work and his own projects and on the study of other authors and plastic trends, highlighting important curative projects around Catalan sculpture and sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries.<\/p>\n

Enric Morera i Borrell<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cartographer by profession, he has worked throughout his life in several Catalan administrations on issues of municipal cooperation, territorial, geographic and mobility. He has published several cartographic works and has collaborated in the edition of Geography and Environment books.
\nGrandson of the sculptor Joan Borrell (1888-1951), for more than forty years he has dedicated himself to researching the life and work of his grandfather, whom he did not know and about whom the family did not have much, to say nothing, documentation . All this effort
\nleading to small initiatives that help meet the sculptor. A while ago set up the web www.borrellnicolau.cat, where he pours much of the information and findings he makes.
\nHe has edited exhibitions such as the House-Museum of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (2008) -a town where Borrell lived for a while-, or that of La Pobla de Segur (2013), where he was originally from Lleida, at the Institut d’Estudis Ilerdencs. He also collaborated in the design and assembly of the exhibition \u201cJoan Borrell i Nicolau. Chronicle of the Origin \u201dorganized by the Museu de Montserrat from October 21, 2017 to February 25, 2018. He has been the coordinator and organizer of the catalogs of all these exhibitions.

Coco Guilera Roche<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her personal career has always coincided with the world of health and art.
\nDegree in Philosophy and Arts, specializing in Art, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and trained in the field of hospital management and Marketing by ESADE.
\nShe alternates sculptural work with silk painting and textile printing techniques, mastering the technique of Shibori and Arashi and Ecoprint.
\nShe has participated with group exhibitions in Catalonia, France and London.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Eul\u00e0lia Mon\u00e9s Gresely\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona in the specialty of sculpture where she had as a teacher the sculptor Jassans. He graduated with honors in 1982.<\/p>\n

She has professionally worked in different fields always related to the visual arts. As a sculptor, making originals to be reproduced in bronze by the It\u00e1lica de Esculturas company in Sant Feliu de Llobregat. As a draftsman, in the Art Department of the Editorial d’Arts Gr\u00e0fiques Busquets Gruart SA in Sabadell and currently and since 1998, as a teacher of the Visual and Plastic Arts Department in secondary school at the College Les Neus of Santa Coloma de Gramenet.<\/p>\n

In 2004 and commissioned by the Badalona City Council, she created the sculpture \/ monument of the Equilibrista located in the Pla\u00e7a del Pat\u00ed de Vela on the Passeig Mar\u00edtim.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Carme S\u00e0nchez Ors<\/strong><\/p>\n

She began his professional life working on various archaeological excavations, drawing the topographic surveys and pieces of the works found in various Talayotic sites in Mallorca, in the argaric site of Gatas (Turre, Almeria), in the Iberian Setefilla (Lora del Rio, Seville) and the Tur\u00f3 de Castellruf (Sta. M de Martorelles, Barcelona), and the Roman villa of Can Jofresa (Terrassa, Barcelona). She then became interested in cooperating with local councils from the public administration and joined the Barcelona Provincial Council. She is currently the Corporate Data Protection Officer of the same Provincial Council. She has published several legal papers and is vice-president of the state association APEP (Asociaci\u00f3n Profesional Espa\u00f1ola de Privacidad).<\/p>\n

Always interested in the world of art, she has collaborated in the installation of sculpture exhibitions at the Museum of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, the Common of Individuals of La Pobla de Segur and the Museum of Montserrat.<\/p>\n

She is a member of the ICRE, provides legal advice and oversees the regulatory performance of activities.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Candela Pe\u00f1ato Perez<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Badajoz (Extremadura) in 1963, though she has lived in Barcelona since she was 17 years old.<\/p>\n

Trained in Commerce, Coaching, and Image Consulting, her interest in painting and sculpture began in 1990. The discovery of clay sparked her curiosity and her need to learn more.<\/p>\n

She took classes with the sculptor El Ma\u00f1o and, later, at the Davinci School of Art, where she began mastering clay and learning about fullness and emptiness. Her curiosity led her to discover new materials, such as wood, and she attended classes with Carlos Espinar at ARTALLA BCN.<\/p>\n

In 2017, she met Jorge Egea and attended his modeling classes. Later, she participated in alabaster carving courses at CIDA with Egea himself and Adri\u00e0 Arnau.<\/p>\n

Adri\u00e1n Arnau Solsona<\/strong><\/p>\n

He began his artistic training in 1999 at the Castell\u00f3n School of Arts and Crafts.<\/p>\n

In 2002 he moved to Barcelona where he graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

During the last years of his career he obtains different scholarships for collaboration and research.<\/p>\n

In 2008 he obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies and began to research on classical sculpture and its impact on Catalan sculpture of the twentieth century.<\/p>\n

Parallel to his academic career, his creative work has resulted in national and international exhibitions, including: A segle d’escultura catalana (MEAM). Barcelona, 2013.
