SCULPTURAL PORTRAIT: FACIAL EXPRESSION

From 1sr to 3rd July it will take place a course of sculptural portrait of facial expressions at the Rosa Ferrandiz’s workshop CAU D’ART. We will have the presence of two actors, Dani and Germán de Diego that make different expressions so we can make different sketches in sculpture. 

The first day lecture on a little history of the ‘physiognomy’ art will be done, and we will tracjt authors like French painter and designer Charles Le Brun (1619-1690), German sculptor Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736-1783 ) and photographer and French physician Guillaume Benjamin Amand Duchenne (1806-1875). 

We guess results will be suggestive…
