DECISION for Ist INTERNATIONAL CONTEST ‘TRIDIMENSIONAL MUSIC’ HOMAGE TO THE GUITAR

The ICRE with the International Guitar Competition “Miguel Llobet” and the Museu de la Música de Barcelona, ​​launched this year the 1st INTERNATIONAL CONTEST ‘THREE-DIMENSIONAL MUSIC’ Tribute to the guitar, with the intention of promoting creativity among artists sculptors who want to participate in this proposal.

 

This first edition has got the participation of 34 artists from 9 countries (Hungary, Finland, France, Italy, Denmark, Argentina, Switzerland or the United States) that have contributed for a multiplicity and richness of artworks. The Selection Committee – consisting of Dr. Sergi Oliva, Professor of Sculpture at the University of Barcelona, ​​Dr. Pilar Velez, director of the Museum of Design Hub Barcelona and Dr. Jaume Ayats, Director of the Museum of Music of Barcelona – has given the 20 works included in the exhibition to be held from October 25 2015 to January 17, 2016 in the temporary exhibition hall of the Museum of Music of Barcelona.
